[8/5/2015] Inheriting Your Health with Dr. Ginger Nash

LISTEN TO EPISODE 1 HERE: Inheriting Your Health with Dr. Ginger Nash

Dr. Nash graduated from The National College of Natural Medicine, located in Portland, Oregon, in 1998. While a student, Dr. Nash received additional training in craniosacral therapy and has practiced this technique for 20 years.

For one year after graduating she worked in the field of women’s health, speaking with and lecturing to hundreds of women interested in hormonal health, throughout the U.S. Subsequently, she learned all about the world of bio-identical hormones and has found ways to work with women that are beyond simply replacing hormones. Dr. Nash sees many female patients that seek help with conditions ranging from PMS and irregular cycles to endometriosis and gynecological cancers.

She left Portland for the east coast in 1999 and has had a thriving practice in New Haven since that year. Her interest in supporting the body’s natural ability to heal led her to extensive studies in European homeopathic methods that focus on restoring proper physiologic function to cells, tissues and organ systems. This approach has proved invaluable to help patients overcome all sorts of imbalances and chronic disease. For more information please read additional material on biotherapeutic drainage.

After meeting Dr. Peter D’Adamo, Dr. Nash immersed herself in the study of epigenetics and became a Fellow and Master Instructor of the Institute for Human Individuality in 2007. The concept of personalized medicine had always been a cornerstone of her work with homeopathy and now the science of epigenetics dovetailed with that beautifully. Dr. Nash was chief medical officer at Dr. D’Adamo’s clinic for 3 years until its closure in 2012 and still incorporates The Genotype Diet into her practice. More information can be found in the services tab.

Dr. Nash teaches at the University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine and continues to teach seminars and teleconferences for health care practitioners throughout the U.S. and Canada. She is a sought-after speaker and is currently working on a book about natural medicine.
